Inspiration

We've been fortunate enough have worked for and with some great mentors, and to have been informed, educated and inspired by many others who have advanced the art of b2b sales and marketing and management thinking generally. They have helped us to think differently and to embrace new perspectives.  Foremost among them was Geoffrey A Moore, author of "Crossing the Chasm", but there are many more - and the list continues to grow!

Our thinking has also been strongly influenced by two of the most effective and significant contributions to management thinking over the past 20 years - the Theory of Constraints and the Lean Six Sigma movement.  Both of these management methodologies had their roots in manufacturing and supply chain - but we've discovered that the underlying principles have great relevance to any organisation that wants to establish a scalable, repeatable sales and marketing system.

But rest assured, we're not slavish theorists - far from it.  We've carefully reviewed the contributions that the methodologies can make, and pragmatically selected the aspects that allow us to drive systematic improvement.  You can learn more about both of these movements - and their obvious applications to the sales and marketing process - by following the links on the right.

Here's how we might be able to help...

Achieving sales and marketing alignment is particularly important to any organisation that is trying to achieve a step-function improvement in marketing effectiveness or sales productivity, to out-perform strong competitors, or to successfully launch new products or enter new markets.

We've been able to help a growing number of B2B organisations to realise their ambitions by diagnosing and dealing with the constraints that have been holding them back.  We may be able to help your company achieve the same.  You can learn more about our approach by browsing this website.
